2. How to use

2.1 Environment

Liece is supposed to run on following Emacsen:

• Emacs 20.7 or later
• XEmacs 21.4 or later

This document assumes that you have already obtained and installed them.

2.2 Settings

To get a try at IRC, you need to add the following line to the end of your `.emacs' file:

(autoload 'liece "liece" "Begin idling your time away." t)

If you are using GNU Emacs instead of XEmacs, you also need to add the contents of `etc/sample.dot.emacs' into `~/.liece/init.el'.

By hitting M-x liece, you will be asked which IRC server you attempt to connect to and your nickname one after another.
